Trochalo Villas is a compact complex of seven private villas, set in mature gardens, and is located on the hillside behind the beautiful seaside village of Stoupa on the Mani peninsula in the Peloponnese region of Greece. Set in a quiet area they provide peace, tranquility and privacy for guests as well as stunning views over the olive groves, Stoupa village and the Gulf of Messinia.
Built in a traditional style using local stone, great care has been taken to provide a setting that compliments and blends with the landscape. Each villa is set in its own private garden complete with swimming pool with all verandas providing westerly facing seaviews.
The villas vary in size and style and provide accommodation for up to 7 people depending on which villa is booked. Fully equipped with air-conditioning available in all bedrooms and living areas, they also have fully furnished pool areas complete with umbrella.
Each villa has Wi-Fi, a washing machine, a Fridge/Freezer, a microwave, an iron, a hairdryer, a safe deposit box, a flat screen TV (BBC World News), and DVD. BBQ’s are available on request.
All the villas have a 2-ring electric hob with the exception of Villa Sparta which has a full electric oven and 4-ring hob.
Since opening in 2008, the villas have been available to rent through English holiday companies Greek Options and Sunvil Holidays under their trading names Sunvil and GIC. However, the villas are now exclusively available for private booking.
Approximately, 1300 metres from Stoupa village where numerous tavernas and cafes are situated along the beachside road. There are 2 large supermarkets located about 1500 metres from the villas as well as all the essential services one expects from a modern seaside resort.
The Mani with the backdrop of the Taygetos mountains is a rugged and beautiful area and provides numerous opportunities to explore Greek villages, the various churches, walk the mountain paths or just drive and enjoy the scenery.
